Planned Gifts & Bequests
Many donors help to secure the future strength and position of Moorings Park Foundation and its charitable giving endeavors by remembering Moorings Park Foundation in their wills. Making a bequest in a will is a simple way to give a future donation that can send love to your neighbors later and give you fulfillment now. A simple bequest form is available.
Given changing estate tax laws, some future gifts like a charitable lead trust can benefit the Foundation now and your children later by removing taxable assets from your estate. Your financial and/or legal advisor can guide you on giving real estate or IRA funds that reduce the estate tax burden left to your children as they inherit from your estate. Planned gifts can be designated for restricted purposes – such as the Scholarships or Community Grants programs– or left completely unrestricted.
Planned Gifts are recognized with membership in the Moorings Park Foundation Cornerstone Society. Please check with your tax professional if you have specific questions about charitable giving and its income tax implications.
The Moorings Park Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization and is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions to the extent permitted by law. The Federal Tax Identification Number is 26-3631295. The Moorings Park Foundation receives one hundred percent (100%) of each contribution.
